We have another fabulous guest designer today.

How long have you been crafting? Seriously for about nine years now.

Is there a line of papers that makes your heart sing? Right now, it is Fancy Pants Designs...I love their paper stacks, especially Road Show

What is the next big craft item on your wish list? Either the E2 or I would love a Sizzex Big Shot Pro

Lisa is sharing the "Love" with us today with this lovely wall hanging.

Thursday, November 3, 2011

Hello, I have a special treat for you today. We have a guest designer to share with you.

She is a very creative crafter who always inspires me with her wonderful projects.

Here are a few things to help us get to know a little more about Jean.

Where do you live?   Huntsville, Alabama

How long have you been crafting?    Ever since I can remember.  My mom used to make crafts for all of our classes.  She was also a cake decorator, so I think her craftiness rubbed off on me.  I began scrapbooking when my niece was born 7 years ago and now I do all of her crafts for school and friends.  I also started sewing in April of this year and that has become a new crafting passion of mine.

What do you do when you are not crafting?  I love to read, go bowling and go swimming.

What types of projects do you enjoy the most?  I really enjoy making scrapbook layouts the most.

What is you favorite craft tool?  Definitely my Cricut.  I don't think I could live without it, because I use them everyday. (I use my cutter everyday too Jean :)

What is your favorite form of bling?  Glitter, I want to put glitter on everything I use.

Is there a line of papers that makes your heart sing?   Graphic 45, however I hardly ever use it, because once I buy it I can't bring myself to use it.  I have a whole stash that I just hoard away, lol. (I certainly can relate to that)

What do you do with all the wonderful craft projects that you make?  Most of the crafts I make are for my niece and her friends.   I also make crafts to decorate my home and my mom's home for all of the holidays.

What is the next big craft item on your wish list?   I recently got a sewing machine for my birthday in April and I love it, so now I am hoping to upgrade and get an Embroidery Machine, so I think that is the next big item I would like to get.

And here are a few of Jean's creations she made to share with the class.

She used the CUWC maple leaf file from our 2nd challenge for this sign. She used her Gypsy for the lovely font.

Such happy little scarecrows.

How cute is that turkey! I love that caption too. (I may have to copy that :)

Please go by Jean's blog , Jean's Crafty Corner, and leave her a nice comment.

I also wanted to mention that I added a challenge calendar tab under the blog header so you you know what challenges are coming up.

Have a great weekend!
