Show and Tell Link Up Party

Hello!
Instead of a challenge this week, we are having a Show and Tell.
The last Tuesday of every month will be a Show & Tell Link Up Party.

You can link up any project that you have made. Old or new.
This is the perfect time for you to Show us what you made and Tell us all about it.

Here are the rules:

1) Be a follower of this blog.

2) Make a NEW POST stating that you are entering your project in the
Cuttin' Up With Class Show and Tell Link Up Party.

3) Provide a link back to CUWC.

4) After you link up, visit at least  other blogs that are playing along with us and leave a comment.

Easy Peasy!

So go to the head of the class and show us what you got!

Winners for Leaf Challenge and a Treat

Hello all you Cuttin' Up friends! I have 2 winners to announce and a special treat for you.

The random number winner is # 2- Lisa R.

The DT pick is Christina with her lovely leaf easel card:

CONGRATS  ladies!

I will be contacting you soon.

Now for a special treat.

Eva from Eva's Scrap N' Cards linked up her project for the Trick or Treat challenge that I wanted to call attention to:

Eva chose to "trick" and make a door hanger with some special treats attached.
She put the BOO! poem on a card at the top

She also made a little treat bag from one of my files and attached the bag to the bottom of the door hanger. (The treat bag and label are available on my Etsy store)
So cute!
Eva even decorated the back of the door hanger
Isn't that adorable!

Just wanted to give you some inspiration :)
Please go by and leave Eva some nice comments.

Lisa also entered a project that is really cute. She had a great idea for turning the door hanger into a little treat holder. I don't have permission to post her pictures yet, but you can check her project out at Lisa's Paper Addiction.

Hope you enjoy all this crafty inspiration :)

Challenge #4 Trick or Treat

Hello  paper crafters! Have we got a treat for you this week. Actually, it is a
"TRICK" or "TREAT".
(You get to choose which one you want to do)

If you choose TREAT, you can make any craft project with the candy files and hopefully tell us who will get your gift.

If you choose TRICK, you will BOO! someone and use the BOO! bucket and door hanger files that I will supply.

If you want to BOO! a friend, here is what you do:

Make a BOO! door hanger telling them they have been "BOOED!"
Make a BOO! bucket and fill it with treats.
Copy the Boo! poem and instructions
Sneak up to a friend's door and leave the sweet treats and the door hanger to let them know just who told them "BOO!"

Here is a look at the poem I wrote and DT member Cheryl typed up for us
So how do you get these exciting files?????
Just email me, Jani, at papercompulsions@gmail.com and tell me which project you would like to to.
Pick "TRICK" and I will send you the cut files for the door hanger, small BOO! bucket, the poem, and the instructions.

Pick "TREAT" and I will send you the files for the  candy cut files and a cute Frankenstein treat cup like the one Gail used below.

Just to get you started, here are some "BOO" captions that you can download.

Now let's see some pictures of what the design team has put together.
I already showed you one of Cheryl's pictures.
Here are a few more.

So, decide which project you would like to enter and email me

Then link your project up below.

Leaf shaker card

Hello crafty friends. I thought I would share another leaf project I made with the files I am giving out this week.
It is a leaf shaker card.

I cut the leaf shape out of the front of the card and cut lots of little leaves to go in the center. I cut 14 of the leaf frame shapes out. Then I inked the front of one frame and the back of another frame.
I attached a piece of acetate behind the front frame, stacked and glued 12 frames together, inserted little leaves, and attached acetate to the back. I put that on the front and glued the one remaining frame to the inside of the card which is the other side of the window.

The Fall Fun caption is one of a set of captions I gave away on the second post. Scroll down and you can download it.

Hope you enjoyed this project and are planning to make a leaf project of your own to link up.

Hello Cuttin' Up pals. I hope you are all enjoying the free files we have given out so far. If anyone else wants the apple mini album files, just email me at papercompulsions@gmail.com and request them. (Blogger is having issues with the comments)

I have another fun free svg file to share with you.

It is a file to make fun 3D spiders. Theses little guys have accordion folded legs and cone shaped bodies. There are so many ways to alter their faces. Here are just a few, but the possibilities are endless.
